Cavitation Lipolysis is a new non-surgical and non invasive fat removal procedure a method of liposuction. Cavitation destroys fat cells by using low frequency sound waves. Once the fat cell is destroyed, the fat is discharged between the cells where they are turned into protein and then changed to free fatty acids and glycerol. Free fatty acids are moved to the liver where they decay and are removed from the body while glycerol is used as energy.

DesoBody & DesoFace Fat Dissolving Injections
Say goodbye to stubborn fat with Deso fat loss injections.
What is Deso?
Deso is a fat dissolving injection that helps treat localised, stubborn fat on the face and body that just won’t shift with diet and exercise. It is a form of lipolysis, a non-invasive treatment which accelerates the body’s natural fat removal process.
The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid – a bile acid which naturally emulsifies and solubilises dietary fats in the intestine. It is a cytolytic medication which means it helps break down a specific type of cell; in this case fat cells, when injected under the skin to give a slimmer and firmer outcome.
How does it work?
The area of concern is injected with Deso to liquefy (and permanently destroy) fat cells, which drain naturally through the body’s lymphatic system over the course of a few weeks.
Deso is separated into concentrations for the face and the body, and is an effective treatment for double chins, love handles, inner arms, stomach fat, inner thighs, knees and more.
While Deso is not designed to treat obesity, the injectable treatment is a successful solution for targeting specific areas.
How many treatments do I need?
Usually a course of 3 or 4 treatments will be required at 4-6 weekly intervals. Between 2 and 4 treatments can be expected to treat double chins. The number of treatments needed is dependent on the amount of fat to remove and will be discussed at your consultation.
Are there any side effects?
Deso can result in inflammation, swelling and redness at the injection site. The treated area may also feel sensitive following your appointment. You may continue with day to day activities and physical activities as usual.
